About Me
Wendy McPherson is the Founder of L.I.V.E Nonprofit Transitional Housing Reentry Program for non-violent female offenders. With Good Standing and a 501c3 tax-exempt status. She currently lives in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband. Wendy experienced first hand the priceless impact of how showing love in the community can change lives. Believing strongly, love expressed one to another can lead women by example towards a positive transition. The opportunity presented itself when she volunteered with Habitat for humanity of STL and The Center for Women in Transition. Learning the importance of community outreach and experiencing first hand the results of making a difference and giving back was very rewarding for Wendy. Her compassion for helping others has ignited a pay-it-forward attitude in her to step out on faith and serve the world beginning in her own community. During her fall semester of college by study and inspiration she felt led in her heart to encourage others on a business level. Her dream of making a difference blossomed after creating a plan with a team of volunteers willing to support this vision and bring awareness to the much needed mission. Wendy shared her vision with her Grandmother who being very supportive and proud, donated property in need of renovation to the cause. The building which was given unfortunately has suffered much damage due to a fire causing the loss of a family member years ago. Therefore public support would be a great help in restoring a community landmark donated to help a very needed cause also supporting women with non-violent offenses become productive in society and partnering with L.I.V.E Transitional housing.
